One of the worst parts about owning an online store is that you only meet your customers on paper. For the most part, the customers order online and you never hear back from them again (until they make another order, YASSSS!). Whenever I see the sales orders, I ask myself, “Who is this babe? Her style seems awesome, but what is she planning to do with her new outfit?” Is she going out to girl’s night? Does she have a hot date? Is this a “revenge on her ex-boyfriend” outfit? Is she a student? What kind of job does she have?
You get the idea.
This is how I got the idea to create the Haute Babe Of The Month program. All of our customers are special, and I believe that they all have their personal story to tell. Because of this, we will be featuring a customer each month. This month’s Haute Babe is Araceli Pulido!
In my opinion, there is no better way to start the new year or the new decade than with this incredible young woman. I met her at our pop up in December 2018 and was impressed of how gorgeous she was and her good vibes and personality. I kept my eye on her impressive journey as a chef and have witnessed how far she has gone. I have no doubts that the next time we'll see her is on Food Network.

What is your ideal job and why? I want Anthony Bourdain's job! I love cooking! I would love to travel the world and learn about different types of food and spices.

Who is your role model? Anthony Bourdain! He really brought the world together with his show and taught us that food is a universal language, I think what he did was beautiful.
If you could change anything in the fashion industry, what would it be? I’d like women to feel comfortable in anything they wear and put an end to the body shaming and unrealistic body types.
What impact would you like to make in the world? I think I’m already doing it I think that’s why I love my job so much, seeing people smile and come together over a meal I created is all I could wish for, maybe someday I’ll have a larger platform and be able to reach the majority like Bourdain!
