One of the worst parts about owning an online store is that you only meet your customers on paper. For the most part, the customers order online and you never hear back from them again (until they make another order, YASSSS!). Whenever I see the sales orders, I ask myself, “Who is this babe? Her style seems awesome, but what is she planning to do with her new outfit?” Is she going out to girl’s night? Does she have a hot date? Is this a “revenge on her ex-boyfriend” outfit? Is she a student? What kind of job does she have?
You get the idea.
This is how I got the idea to create the Haute Babe Of The Month program. All of our customers are special, and I believe that they all have their personal story to tell. Because of this, we will be featuring a customer each month. This month’s haute babe is Sarah Mariana! Sarah is an amazing visual merchandiser from New Orleans that reached out to us via Instagram months ago in regards to an amazing sequin set we sold. Of course, she looked AMAZING in it! She is an amazing and has the exact same mentality as we do. Our goal is to become completely size inclusive without separating size runs, which is something she talks about in her interview <3.

If you could change anything in the fashion industry, what would it be?
For there not to be a category such as extended sizes.Menswear has ready to wear in all sizes and inseam without the distinction. Just like menswear, we need to have every size under one umbrella.
What impact would you like to make in the world? For people to value their worth, help them build confidence to take risks even if they do fail along the way.
